		<description>Thank you for that sage advice Andy.  I think at the heart of it, we all long to escape.  Sometimes it's awesome and sometimes we are better off staying put.  Last weekend turned out to be raining and wet at the cabin, I am glad we stayed home.

For me, travel time is one consideration when buying a vacation property compared to the spontaneity of a locally moored sailboat. Two weeks in the cottage is a vacation, two weeks in a sailboat is an experience. Christmas at the cottage makes memories, Christmas on a sailboat threatens a marriage.
