Not in the cottage. Keep also water ( in the summer) or antifreeze in a little dish beside the oust a mouse so they will eat the bait and drink some antifreeze to wash it down! We haven't had any problems with the mice- however the red squirrels keep dragging the house around the property trying to get into it! Safe for the dogs ( not the anti freeze part).
