Hi Debb,
I hear you - I miss the sun on my face and wakeboarding. I really love wakeboarding. I can't wait for skiing to start to feel that rush of adrenalin again. Great that you can use your place in the winter. It must be a completely differnt experience.

Cheers,
Julie

I miss just being there! We closed up in mid october. Since we're boat-to, we now have to wait until freeze-up before going again. Usually, the ice is safe the first or second week in janurary. Ten to twelve weeks without our cottage fix is tough!! So, as soon as we can we'll load up the snowmobile and sleigh and spend a day or two there. It's so quiet and serene at the camp in winter. Chickadees, Nuthatches and Bluejays will return when we put the seed out. On our snowshoe treks we'll see moose and deer tracks in the bush. Hopefully there will be no signs of mice inside the camp.
That's what I'm missing today. Tomorrow it might be the lattes on the dock. Or the early morning sun on my shoulders. Or the smell of the cedars. Or..................

I don't have an alarm clock in the bedroom at the cottage. I miss not having an alarm clock and not worrying about a schedule. I'm missing fresh Walleye and getting so hot in the boat that everyone has to jump in.
