You wrote last year that you were just starting to research the insurance aspect of cottage rentals.  I'd be grateful if you could e-mail me with what you've learned.  I've been paying outrageous rates for several years now (about $3000) and am thinking that there has got to be an alternative -- it's hardly worth renting anymore.  My cottage is in Ontario (Georgian Bay) and I have never had a claim.  (I've bought it in 2001 and have rented it every summer since then.)  Any suggestions?
